Easter 2020

It's now the Easter holidays. Most importantly, we hope you are all well and keeping safe. This is an important time for you to rest and relax after the last few weeks which will have been difficult for everyone as we adjust to the new normal.  

Some pupils and parents may want some work to do over the holidays to help pass the time. Therefore, below we have provided some for you but it is entirely OPTIONAL. It is entirely up to you if you wish to complete it. You can submit it to you teacher if you wish or in some cases the answers will be available for you to check the work yourself.   

Remember to get in touch with someone at the school if you need any help with anything or have any concerns you would like to discuss. You can contact your subject teachers, Year Leader,  Mr Jeffery (rjeffery@whtc.co.uk) or Ms Lee (flee@whtc.co.uk) with any questions or concerns (even if they are about someone else at the school)  


Years 8 - 11 Computer Science and Digital Information Technology – Cyber Security Education. Easter Pack April 2020

Welcome to Easter Cyber School, following on from what you have been learning in your Computer Science lessons, you have now been assigned to explore a cutting-edge assignment in technology. 

What do you need?

  1. Select 'intermediate classes' if you are in Years 8 or 9 and 'advanced classes' if you are in Years 10 or 11
  2. Watch the live (11am) or recorded classes on YouTube on each topic
  3. Complete the cyber project for each video. There is a link to the Google Docs under each video

Please note:

Cyber school will be hosting daily classes at 11am, there is no requirement for you to complete all daily sessions or complete all project tasks, however if you have a keen interest in cyber topics and techniques – please feel free to watch the class and make notes/complete the project task.
