Wembley High Technology College has been recognised as one of the highest performing schools in the country once again. With a Progress 8 Score of +1.57, the progress pupils are making at Wembley High from Key Stage 2 to Key Stage 4 GCSEs is the 4th highest in the country and the highest in London. In addition, the school also had its best ever A Level results with 66% of pupils achieving A* - B grades.

London Mayor Celebrates Wembley High's Success

Outstanding achievements of Wembley High Technology College recognised by the Mayor of London The Mayor of London, Sadiq Khan, has celebrated the outstanding performance of Wembley High Technology College in Brent with an awards ceremony. The school was honoured for its work to reduce educational inequality and achieve exceptional results for children who were previously behind in their studies, at a Schools for Success awards ceremony. Wembley High Technology College has been recognised for its outstanding academic success and the progress pupils make from primary school to GCSE. The Schools for Success programme was created by the Mayor in 2017 to improve the support given to children from disadvantaged backgrounds. The programme recognises primary and secondary schools that ensure strong progress for their lowest attaining pupils, has a strong overall performance and shares their work with other schools.  The Mayor of London, Sadiq Khan, said: “I’d like to congratulate the staff of Wembley High Technology College for their excellent work. Schools for Success was created to celebrate the difference that teachers, teaching assistants, support staff and governors are making every day to support children and reduce inequalities, and this school’s inclusive and supportive learning environment is a great example of this. GCSE Results 2019

GCSE Results 2019 Many congratulations to all pupils at Wembley High on another year of excellent GCSE results. This year saw the continued reform of the new style more rigorous and challenging GCSEs graded 9 – 1 with almost all subjects now in this new format. With all the changes and challenges this brings, our pupils continue to excel and here are some of the highlights. 88% of pupils achieved grades 9 – 4 in English and maths. 79% of pupils achieved grades 9 – 5 in English and maths. 79% of pupils achieved the English Baccalaureate. 93% of pupils achieved grades 9 – 4 in English, with 45% achieving grades 9 – 7. 27 pupils achieved the coveted grade 9. 91% of pupils achieved grades 9 – 4 in maths, with 61% achieving grades 9 – 7. An astonishing 44 pupils achieved the coveted grade 9. 94% of all science exams were awarded grades 9 – 4 and 66% were awarded grades 9 – 7. A total of 89 grade 9s were awarded across the sciences. 114 pupils (54%) achieved 5 or more 9 – 7 grades! 78 pupils (38%) achieved 8 or more 9 – 7 grades! 40 pupils achieved 10 or more 9 – 7 grades! Almost 1100 exams were awarded 9 – 7 or A* - A grades! Particular congratulations to Aditya Gori, Sayana Santhirasegar and Siyani Siventhiran on achieving 11 Grade 9s and Darsh Vaja on achieving 12 Grade 9s! Well done to all pupils on another year of fantastic results, and thank you to all staff and parents for all their hard work and support. Well Done!
