You will be completing an end of term project on the literature texts. You will be writing an article based on the play Macbeth and a diary entry for a character in A Christmas Carol.

If you have time, have a go at writing your own article for a key event in An Inspector Calls. 

 

Year 11

What will I be covering this week?

This week, you will be improving your structural analysis, practising how to evaluate a text and writing a narrative.

  • Lesson 1 (30 mins): To reflect on your strengths and areas for improvement in your structural analysis.
  • Lesson 2 (30 mins): To practise how to evaluate a text critically and support this with appropriate textual references and analysis.  
  • Lesson 3 (30 mins): To practise how to plan and write a detailed narrative.

There is an optional activity on your worksheet. You may also log into Educake or GCSEpod and explore the ‘English Language AQA’ sections.

 

Year 12 and 13
