WMAT Graduate Intern

The Graduate Intern posts are an exciting and ideal opportunity for candidates who are looking at careers in teaching or education. If you are looking to develop your leadership skills and implement change in an educational setting, this role will appeal to you. We are looking for well qualified, aspirational graduates (2:1 or higher) who want to contribute to our highly successful school. There are a range of opportunities available. This is a fixed term post for 10 months

SECONDARY ROLES (£26418 gross per annum)

Year Leaders: Under the guidance of our pastoral leaders, you will lead a year group (210 pupils) and be responsible for their day-to-day managements and leading the delivery of our assembly and Personal Development programme.

Intervention Specialists: Working within departments, you will provide the highest levels of academic intervention to pupils that need a little further support and work with some of the most able pupils to stretch and challenge them further. You will also have the opportunity for whole class teaching and be fully supported to develop your teaching practice. We particularly welcome applications from those who can teach in the following areas: maths, physics, chemistry, geography, history, and computer science.
