The Government has announced that ALL schools in England will close from Friday 20th March until further notice. The school will remain open for children of key workers and vulnerable children (those with a social worker or an EHCP)
Key workers are defined on this page. Remember, your should ONLY send your child to school if there is NO OTHER appropriate care available.
If you are a key worker, please click this link to let us know your child will be attending next week. You MUST let us know before you send your child to school.
For those attending school in the weeks ahead, you will receive further information when your child arrives. The day will last from 8.40am to 3.00pm. We will provide food for pupils and they do not need to wear school uniform.
Free School Meals
Vouchers are being emailed out weekly to those who are entitled to FSM. If you believe you should be receiving these, please get in touch with us at firstname.lastname@example.org and we will get back to you.
The Government has also announced that all GCSE and A Level exams will not take place this year. Grades will be awarded by centres using the guidance published by Ofqual. In line with their instructions, we are not able to discuss these with pupils or parents - thank you in advance for not approaching or asking about them until results are published.
Results will be published as they had originally planned:
- Thursday 13th August 2020 for A Level and AS Level
- Thursday 20th August 2020 for GCSE
Please check back closer to the time for further information.
If you have any concerns that pupils or parents wish to discuss or are worried about the welfare of anyone at Wembley High, please let us know and we will help in any way we can. You can complete this form or you may email Mr Jeffery (email@example.com) or Ms Lee (firstname.lastname@example.org) directly.
We intend to publish this on a weekly basis going forward. On each page, you will find information on how pupils should submit their work to their teachers. For some classes, especially in Years 10 and above, work will continue to be sent via email. It is essential that your child engages with the work set and that they continue to learn at home and we thank you in advance for your support in this.
It is also important you remember that your child stays safe online. We have put together some guidance to assist parents with this as well as some tips for home learning.
GCSE Pod: The school has subscribed to an excellent platform that will support all pupils, and especially those in Years 7 - 11. Pupils can sign up by clicking here using their school details. Please note an app is also available.
Please use the links above to find more information about the relevant sections. If you need to contact the school, please email email@example.com and we will get back to you as soon as we can. You can also call during normal school hours.
