This week’s work is below for your classes. You should also check your emails as some additional instructions from teachers may be sent. Remember to ask your subject teacher if you need any extra help or support with the work.

If you are worried about something, always get in touch with your teacher, Year Leader, Mr Jeffery or Ms Lee who will help in any way they can.

Year 7

In addition to your Hegarty Maths tasks this week, from Monday to Wednesday you will be participating in the Wembley High Maths Challenge! There are 20 questions in total. The first 15 questions are 1 mark each and the last 5 questions are 2 points each to see if you can really challenge yourselves. Therefore the total marks for the quiz will be 25 marks. 

There will be lots of certificates up for grabs to celebrate your achievements. Not only will you be competing with your class, but you can also compete with your friends in the year group and try and see if you can be the best in the whole school too!

This week you will have two tasks. Your teacher will email you a differentiation pack of exam questions for you to apply everything you have learnt about differentiation. In addition, from Monday to Wednesday you will be participating in the Wembley High Maths Challenge! There are 20 questions in total. The first 15 questions are 1 mark each and the last 5 questions are 2 points each to see if you can really challenge yourselves. Therefore the total marks for the quiz will be 25 marks.

Year 12 Maths

For this week we will work on an exam pack from the topic you started on Friday’s zoom – integration by recognition 2.

Monday and Tuesday: Your teacher will email you the exam pack for the week. It can also be found on the Google Drive. Email your teacher if you have any questions.

Wednesday – Thursday: Find the model solutions on the Google Drive and mark your work.

Wednesday: If you have been contacted by the sixth form team, attend the in-school supplementary support session. Bring your calculator and ask questions!

Friday: No maths zooms! Well done for all of your hard work over the entire year. Have a great summer break - remember to work through your Year 13 Summer preparation pack and come back in September ready to learn some maths!

Year 12 Further Maths

There is no new video lesson/Dr Frost for this week. You will have been emailed a revision exam pack for this half-term of work (which you can also find on the Google Drive below). For those of you coming into school separate resources will be prepared, so you can start the pack immediately.

Suggested timetable:

  • Monday – Wednesday: complete the exam pack and email your teacher with any issues you may have.
  • Thursday: final Zoom session of the year.
