Year 11 get a taste of 'the Real Thing'
by WHTC News - Thursday, 13 November 2008, 12:00 PM
This half term Y11 Applied Science students are visiting the Coca-Cola manufacturing plant in Edmonton to see how Coke, Oasis, Fanta and many other products make it to the shelves. Mr Bullock's group went last Friday and were amazed at the bottles flying over their heads, and 'Rhianna' the packaging robot. Bill our guide was impressed with the excellent questions asked and sends his congratulations to the two students who won star prizes in the production line challenge!

Over the next few weeks these students will be using this experience as a case study to analyse science and engineering in the workplace. Well done for their hard work and good luck to the students yet to take the trip!
