Community Overview
We believe that our students should complement their academic achievement by being well-rounded and moral citizens. Social development sits alongside academic excellence at the heart of the School’s ethos. We offer a broad and stimulating range of extra-curricular activities to support wider learning, and we promote strong links with the local community. As a multi cultural, multi ethnic school we actively support the community in many different facets of school life. In particular, we have strong links with local pensioners, the Tamil School and Sanatan Hindu Mandir.
Primary Schools, Harrow School and St. Pauls Schools
We have strong links with Sudbury, Barham, Oakington, Lyon Park and Elsley Primary Schools where we are involved in sharing good practice and working with both students and teachers to improve the life chances of students in Brent.
We have developed extensive links with the highly prestigious Harrow School, St Paul’s Girls’ and Boys’ Schools – three of the country’s top private schools. We share staff; and our students spend time at both schools. We benefit from the use of these schools’ extensive networks and resources. Staff from these schools also prepare students for examination success by delivering Master Classes. A number of scholarships to these schools worth in excess of £50, 000 per pupil are available exclusively to our most able students every year.
