Science

Welcome back to Science! We hope you have had a restful and enjoyable Easter break. This page outlines the learning that students will be completing for Science in the week commencing Monday 20th April. 

Your teachers will send you activities on the days that you would normally have your Science lessons.  The activities may include:

  • Watching a video voiceover of the lesson content and then completing the exam questions within the lesson. 

  • Exam questions with mark schemes so that you can self-assess your work. 

  • GCSEPod assignments 

  • Seneca assignments 

Your teacher will also set you work on Educake and ask you to complete knowledge organisers as homework tasks to help consolidate the learning you have done over the course of the week. 

Click on your year group: Year 7Year 8Year 9 and Year 10

Year 7

This week your lessons will cover the following content: 

  1. Transition metals, reactivity

  2. Displacement reactions

  3. Metals/ores

  4. Extraction/recycling
