The Governors wish to appoint an enthusiastic and motivated teacher who will join a well-established and highly successful department to teach maths across all key stages. Results in the maths department are outstanding and among the highest in the country; this year 91% of students achieved grades 9 – 4 at GCSE, 62% achieved grades 9 – 7 grades, and an astonishing 39 pupils achieved the coveted grade 9. At key stage 5, Maths and Further Maths are very popular options with 77% of pupils achieving A* – B. We are a very high performing department and last year the Progress 8 score for maths was the highest in the country at 2.09. We are looking for a teacher who can make a significant contribution to this already strong and successful department.
