Teacher of Art
The Governors wish to appoint an enthusiastic and motivated teacher who will join a well-established and highly successful art department. Results in the art department are excellent; in 2018 100% of students achieved grades 9 – 4 at GCSE and 26% achieved grades 9 – 7. At key stage 5, Art is becoming a popular option with our first year 13 cohort predicted 100% A* – B. We are looking for a teacher who can make a significant contribution to this already strong and successful department.
We welcome applications from NQTs as well as those who wish to train to teach. Trainee teachers at Wembley High receive a comprehensive, structured training programme, delivered by highly trained mentors and bespoke to the individual trainee's needs.
